few products. The Malaysian operation began as a subsidiary of the Singapore registered company, becoming a fully registered company in 1987.

PAPPL encompasses Pfizer's clinical research unit which is located at the Singapore General Hospital. Opened in June 2001, the unit
currently has 31 beds and a database of 2,500 healthy volunteer subjects. It conducts mainly Phase 1 clinical research to support and
facilitate the introduction of new medicines in Asia and around the world. |
